Your doll in the outfit
Think of the theme of your outfit. For example, if your outfit was dark and had little to no patterns, the theme might be 'Winter' or 'Creepy.'
For my example, the theme was 'Spring,' because her pants were really flowery and cute.
Now think of the colors and patterns in your outfit, and what spots around your house you could use. For example, if your outfit had a lot of contrasting colors and patterns, you wouldn't want to choose a location that also had a lot of colors.
For my example, I went to two different spots. One was dark and green, and the other was brighter, with some purple flowers.
When you're taking your photo, you might have to try a bunch of different angles and positions for your doll to be in. I like to get low and then point my phone upwards and towards the doll, which makes her legs look longer and more elegant.
For my example, I used the angle that I just talked about, which made the legs look longer.
Editing your photo can make it look a lot different. When I edit, I just use the filters that come with the camera app on my phone. When editing, try to match the theme you chose in Step 1.
Here are some examples of the finished edited product.
This filter makes the photo look more saturated and bright. It also accentuates the flower on her pants, and the purple flowers in the background.
This filter is darker and goes with a more rainy spring theme. It makes you think she's in a forest or somewhere like that.
This filter goes for a more washed-out look, which can also look really cool. It makes everything look more even and elegant.
This filter is also somewhat washed-out, and creates the same atmosphere as the previous photo. In this location, her pants are the main focus.
